Duckling and I just put chocolate chip banana bread in the oven.
My eyes just rolled into the back of my head thinking about putting peanut butter in it. I’m dismissing that, but I think I’ll spread pb on it... chunky peanut butter!
I’ve been thinking of putting peanuts or pecans in it. Chunky pb will kinda make up for all of the ideas. I don’t like hazelnut, but that chocolate hazelnut spread that is so popular would probably work on banana bread.

I put pecans and chocolate chips in my banana bread, so good!

Chopped walnuts, chocolate chips and hand placed whole maraschino cherries. Wrap in aluminum foil and freeze. Cut slices off while still frozen and eat it frozen.

It is actually a very old recipe although the freezing part was begun by my mother. If I remember correctly she said that the original recipe called for chopped maraschino cherries which in my opinion is not a good thing. I hand place the maraschino cherries so that each slice of the bread will contain one maraschino cherry.

@N F C I didn't get to use the new flour today. I didn't realize I was almost out of sugar until I was wondering if I had enough to finish the first batch of brownies. Needless to say my husband is not happy.

That's why I end up buying 50 lbs a flour a month now Costco is not with yeast right now loved the 5 lbs brick bought 3 jars at walmart to get through the month
