    Guess it depends on your genes…my Grandad ate strickolean for breakfast and lunch everyday for 94 years!

    It's real fatty bacon, more fat with a little meat streak…like fat back or salt pork.

    like those deep fat fried pork skins.
    I have manage to keep my kid away from those.
    If he only knew.
    I will in the future, one day get the call in the middle of the night, "Mom! You LIED to me. They ARE good!"

    OK, back to baking thread:

    I am gonna cheat, bought a Lemons Bar Package Mix and will bake it tomorrow…on a lemon kick I guess..lol.

    Hey, I enjoy the sidetracked posts, so don't stop on my account!

    And, the bacon wrapped thingies were baked, so that's baked bacon, right? Doesn't that fit?
