Y’all know how fast putting together a loaf of bread is. Well, it takes a lot longer when your helper spills oil all over the counter and floor.

I saw the photo of your bread on Farmer Connie's thread...accident or not, the bread looked good! Did Duckling enjoy making & eating it?

It took so long to clean up the oil, she lost interest in the ingredients, but was very proud to set temperatures and timers. She was bouncing around when the oven timer went off. She’d just finished eating her nuggets and breadstick, but found room to eat a thick slice of hot bread.

Duckling falling was my main concern. She was fine when she was dancing on a towel (helping clean up), but she ran in (dangerous) and began dancing around again. She just wouldn’t stay still!

We made apple pie today. I minced about 1.5" of fresh ginger and added it to my regular recipe to test it before Thanksgiving. I hope it's good. I found some recipes that use crystallized ginger but I think that would be too sweet.

That would be my husband's doing not mine. I hate making crust and he's much better at it.
