Any Home Bakers Here?

@penny1960 I'm sure he will love it! That will be very useful!

My hubby loves tools, but he is very picky about what brand of tools he gets. When there is a tool that he wants, he just goes and buys it.

Nice looking cookies Jared. Can you post the secret to cutouts that hold their shape? My DH loves the cutout cookie recipe that I make, but it makes about 7 dozen cookies.
They are very tasty, but that is alot of cookies for me to frost for just 2 of us.

Good luck on the goose hunt.
wyo Dreamer....would you post the recipe or is it listed ? Thanks Aria

Here is the recipe I followed. I followed it exactly. I just use the Cutters to cut them into the shape after chilling the dough, then I bake them, and let them cool. It works perfectly.

Just mixed No Knead Sourdough Bread (Jim Lahey's)...used 3/4
cup of my Sourdough Starter. Will leave overnight. I did notice
the dough was a bit WETTER. Added a little more flour. And put
the sourdough starter left in the glass jar in a clean glass jar and
Fed it. Ron, I did have fun doing this. Looking forward to more

It is a lot of fun!

@Auroradream26, if you ever do try goose, and it does not have to be your boys, keep in mind that goose has a much higher fat content than duck or chicken. You have to cook it so the fat drains out. I did that for Thanksgiving.

Here is the goose recipe I used recently. It is the best goose recipe in my opinion.

It takes four days, but it is well worth it.
