I made cookies for my brother in laws 40th birthday party this past weekend. Not my best decorating as I forgot my frosting bag and tip so I had to use a sandwich bag. I made buttermilk biscuits last night with hamburger gravy.

Penny Jo, What recipe for your4 loaves of bread? And you do
clean your chicken coop often. Good for you. How often? My husband does NOT clean too often. But, you probably have more chickens. We have 5...with only one laying. Aria
I was finally able to clean mine today. It was high 20’s and no wind. I wanted to get it done sooner but timing was never right between rain and harvest. My kittens enjoyed the fresh straw.

hello,

So, two things. First off, I made Christmas cookies. Here's a picture of them.

Every year for 10 years, we have been trying to successfully make Christmas cookies in the right shapes. Whenever we cook them, they always lose their shape. After 10 years, I finally succeeded. They held their shape, and they are the best Christmas cookies I ever made.

Second, for Christmas dinner I am planning on taking down another goose, and then having a Christmas goose and figgy pudding.

If I'm unable to take down a goose, I'm going to get a turkey from the store.

@penny1960 I'm sure he will love it! That will be very useful!

My hubby loves tools, but he is very picky about what brand of tools he gets. When there is a tool that he wants, he just goes and buys it.

Nice looking cookies Jared. Can you post the secret to cutouts that hold their shape? My DH loves the cutout cookie recipe that I make, but it makes about 7 dozen cookies.
They are very tasty, but that is alot of cookies for me to frost for just 2 of us.

Good luck on the goose hunt.
