No votes on the type of buns, so I guess I’ll do a mix.

We moved here with the dryer. I replaced the washing machine in 2007I only hope they all make it even half as long![]()
This was my mother's recipe.Anybody have a good carrot cake recipe?

Carrot Cake
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups cooking oil
4 eggs
3 cups grated carrots
1/2 cup warm water
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder (aluminum free)
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins
Place raisins in saucepan, add water and bring to a boil. Cool and drain.
Mix sugar and oil.
Add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy.
Mix in carrots and water.
Stir in dry ingredients and then add nuts and raisins.
Bake at 325° F. for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool and frost with cream cheese frosting.
