That makes sense!All the macaron recipes I’ve seen have almond flour. I’m only making these to see if I canI personally do not like almonds. They are resting uncooked on the cupboard right now and are looking like they will be a fail. I have never had these so I don’t even know what the texture should be.

There were Macarons at work last year and I did not like them. It was likely the Almond flour. I made a flourless chocolate cake with almond flour a couple of years ago and did not like it either.
