They do not have a good flavor:sickThey are flatter then they should be. I don’t think I’ll waste any more almond flour.

There were Macarons at work last year and I did not like them. It was likely the Almond flour. I made a flourless chocolate cake with almond flour a couple of years ago and did not like it either.
 
All the macaron recipes I’ve seen have almond flour. I’m only making these to see if I can:lol:I personally do not like almonds. They are resting uncooked on the cupboard right now and are looking like they will be a fail. I have never had these so I don’t even know what the texture should be.

I made some blueberry muffins with almond flour for a bridal shower. There were a couple attending with gluten problems. They were not bad. The macarons are pretty(not mine:lol:)If I’m making something I want them to taste good also.
