I hereby dub this submarine sandwich "Red October."

I just finished making it.

Water to boil...place the eggs in a steamer and steam for 15-20
minutes. Remove and place in ice cold water for 5 minutes.
I placed on egg at a time in the small jar and shook it.

Remember I saw the neggmaker on Amazon for $17.95. I viewed it and it was just a small jar. Why not try it myself in
a small jar? Did it. And it works. Big deal boiling and peeling
FRESH eggs....perhaps...but it makes my time with the boiling of eggs...SIMPLE. Aria

Had to go look I have mason Jars up the ying yang may see here with silky eggs

I know Sams club does too but hubby didn’t want to go yesterday as its so far to drive so we went to Walmart which is an hour from here. If I don’t like these I won’t need almond flour again.
I made something with Almond flour and did not like it.

There is no health benefit to gluten free unless a person is diagnosed by a Doctor with celiac disease. Most gluten free products are very high in sugar and fat too.

For about 95% of people, Gluten is actually very good for them too. Many are out to make money so make up stuff to sell products and books. In many ways it is a new version of Snake oil salesman. The Internet is full of it

All the macaron recipes I’ve seen have almond flour. I’m only making these to see if I can:lol:I personally do not like almonds. They are resting uncooked on the cupboard right now and are looking like they will be a fail. I have never had these so I don’t even know what the texture should be.

I'm following along with you on your experiment DMC. I've never eaten or made a macaron before. I understand they are a bit 'temperamental'...might take more than 1 batch to get the hang of it.

I understand that! DH doesn't get it when I get irate with something not turning out the way I'd pictured it.

You'll get that recipe licked, I'm sure!
