Any Home Bakers Here?

We have NOT found a brand of Hot Dogs we like. On the search
again. We save Hot Dog eating for the Summer. Who knows why?
Just a "thing" with us. Aria
I prefer hotdogs to be burnt, so over a fire. Also, cooking and eating outside helps distract me from what I am putting in my mouth.

AND....any special BRAND? Who makes the hot dog? Aria
Hebrew National is my preference because it’s it’s not odds and literal ends. I will go with Ballpark when it’s summer, and Duckling wants to roast hotdogs for every meal. They taste okay, and are cheaper (important since she goes through so many) without being too cheap.

THANKS. It is on the Best List I Googled. Thanks again, Aria

@LittleMissPurdy I need you to try this, and tell me how it turns out. :caf
Vanilla ice cream

Minutes to Prepare: 5
Number of Servings: 1
INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup milk (Any)
1 tbsp. (3 tsp.) sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (or any flavor extract)
Ingredients Needed to Make Ice Cream (not eaten):
Ice cubes
6 tbsp. salt
Tools Needed:
Measuring utensils (tsp., tbsp., 1/2 cup)
Resealable Ziploc Bags ( 1 pint and 1 gallon size)

DIRECTIONS
Place milk, sugar and extract in pint sized bag and seal.
Fill gallon-sized bag halfway with ice cubes.
Add salt to ice.
Place the pint sized sealed bag inside the gallon sized bag on top of ice.
Seal gallon sized bag.
Shake bags vigorously for about 4 min or until mixture inside pint sized bag freezes.

You aren’t supposed to eat the salted ice, drink the water (though you can gargle with it!), or chew on the plastic bags.

That's how I like hot dogs too...burnt over an open fire! :highfive:

BC, have you ever had a Slaw Dog? It's tangy cole slaw on a crispy dog...makes my mouth water just to think of it :drool
