Any Home Bakers Here?

Thats all I use is pecans. I like it better then walnuts. Nice!
It seems to depend on what you grew up with. I grew up with either Black Walnuts or English Walnuts in the banana bread (including chocolate chips and maraschino cherries). I have tried it with pecans and did not care for the flavor. I only use English Walnuts now and I use them in pretty much everything.

Dinner was good to go had tri tip steak thought it was pork out all day made a salad from the garden I go nut with the mustard i grow spinach not up far enough but dandelion lept into garden all is fair right.. made sourdough biscuits to go with
 
You have a variety of scorpions over there in Idaho, lol. 4 or 5 species, I think.
Good thing is that they are not poisonous to humans.

You do have to worry about black widow spiders though. Along with your rattlesnakes, of course.

Be careful when you are out fishing and hiking!

Thanks for the info. I knew about the black widows and rattlesnakes, but not scorpions.

It's funny, I've lived in Idaho for 15 plus years, and I had no idea we have scorpions.

Well, I know now!

Alot of people don't know about the scorpions - probably because they are not poisonous to us. Tell the wrong people about them and they will gather them up to sell for pets and decimate the population.

I only know about the scorpions because when I moved out to Wyoming, my sister was teasing me about finding a black widow spider in my house. So I had to find something worse that she has in Idaho that that we didn't have in Wyoming, lol.
