Thanks IM! It went very well. You could hardly see the cookies thru the sprinklesThe kids loved them...so did the adults.
Our county fair is next week and I’m going to enter some of my goodies in their exhibits. It’s way out of my comfort zone but I’m doing it

Good for you! I definitely think you have the talent It seems this summer is for pushing ourselves to do more.

You think I’m being a nut, but he really is special to me. I can’t replace him. The single serve side really sounds like it’s saying, “as you wish,” when it beeps.

Ok, I have an interesting story to tell. It reminds me of a recipe I have I will post at the end.

So, my dad was helping out one of his customers on a construction site. He heard a lot of workers talking about a " 4 foot bird with a thick neck." No one could identify it.

Being a birder, I sprang into action, and went with my dad the next time he visited that customer. On the site, and I did get permission, I spotted the bird, and got a picture of it.



What they saw I was actually a very large wild male turkey. It was very interesting to see it in town near a construction site.

This reminds me of the wild turkey recipe I used. I think I posted it before.
