Well, I fixed my car so many times, but now there is a failure that I cannot fix. It would take $3,000 to fix this problem now. After fixing the radiator, the starter, alternator, the fuel pump, and the fuel filter, and now the problem is the head gasket.
I admit defeat.
Rest in peace my 1995 Subaru. You lasted a LONG time.
That looks great Penny. Was it worth the effort?
I'm making dog cookies after work today. PB and Pumpkin plus PB and Banana. The person who writes the blog I got the recipe from feeds her dog a vegan diet, but I only use this recipe from there.

I'm sorry... a vegan dog?? Is she trying to kill it?

I drove a Ford Taurus like that until the head blew on the way to work.@jnicholes Sorry to hear about your car, that is old. How many miles on it?
I drove a Ford escort with a cracked head gasket for about 8 months. I would fill the radiator and check the oil. When the oil turned to a nice light cream color, I would change the oil, lol. Broke college student. I found a replacement head and had a couple for friends replace it one summer Saturday for a home cooked meal and all the brandy slush they could drink.
