Guess I spoke too soon. Severe weather alert.

We have been having rain every couple of days for a while now. 1.8 inches on Monday and another .8 inches yesterday.

Dry in Wyoming, would-a never guessed that would happen, lol. I wish I could send some moisture your way @N F C
The danger of wildland fires is nothing to take lightly.

You remember I'm sure!

Today I saw the biggest wind storm I've seen since living here. I was at work at the golf course and it was warm, the sky was clear. Looked outside about 5 minutes later and couldn't hardly see anything...dirt, sand, tree bark, big door mats, you name it and it was blowing! The antelope were freaking out and thundering around the place in a panic. I heard from a maintenance guy about 8-10 trees are down. Another customer and I drove golf carts out to the #6 green to pick up 2 guys that had been walking/playing...I couldn't leave them on their own, I was afraid a tree limb would fall on them. That storm lasted about 15-20 minutes then the temperature dropped way down and stayed there.

It was freaky for sure!

I had a pretty big Windstorm here too. It was strong enough to knock over my potted Citrus and my prickly pear.

I remember those freaking sand storms, yuck!
I had to vacuum dirt out of all the window sills and the tracks for the 2 sliding doors. I wiped down the wall around the plates for the electric where dust had blown through.

I'm sure those guys were glad to see you drive up to get them.

They fussed a bit about wanting to finish their golf game, but when 1 of them tried to hit their ball and it blew back the opposite direction, they changed their minds. :gig They did thank me later.
