Here's a question to you all...

If you had to choose between a food processor and a blender, which would you choose?

Also, any particular brand of either one you would recommend?

Thanks!
I'd probably go with the food processor, mine's a cuisinart. But I can't imagine not having both. My blender is kitchenaid.

It would be nice to have both, I can see the need for each. But my kitchen is so small (and already packed) so I thought for now, I could get away with just one.

I have this, I use it more than my food processor and it isn't very big so maybe you can have both :idunno

I have something like that in my camper - but it is powered by a crank handle, lol.

I use my food processor a lot more than my blender - in fact, my blender is un-usable at this time as the rubber gasket got melted somehow and broke in half.
The food processor will sorta work as a blender (but not that great), but a blender will not work as a food processor. My food processor is my grater, slicer, chopper and does puree for sauces. I also have a stick blender that I use alot.

What brand of processor do you have Wyo?

I forgot to mention, I do have a stick blender. Which is awesome for things like sauces that require a lot of stirring.

I think it is a kitchen-aid - but I will check when I get home. I also use it to make pie crusts - it has a plastic blade for making dough and works really good for pie crust. Pulse for mixing the dry ingredients and shortening - pulse a few more times when adding the water - voila, done!

I like that idea (pie crust)!

Thanks for the input :D
