We had our leftover Beef/Pork Stew....with Brown rice. I have
an antique cup no handle...white ironstone...I butter the cup
and press the cooked Brown Rice into cup. In a cupped plate,
I turn the cup over in the center of the plate and place the heated
stew all around. Sprinkle with grated Asiago Cheese.
 
Last week I started a sourdough culture. I followed the recipe but it was just sitting there so yesterday I put a pinch of sugar in it and now it seems to be doing something! Smells Ok I guess and I don't see any mold.
I am not the professional....others on this thread are. BUT, I am
guessing perhaps you should Feed it. Your "Baby Sourdough Starter" may be telling you it is hungry.
