Any Home Bakers Here?

My mom gets bison from a place in Colorado but I'm not sure of the name. A search turned up 3 places: North Star Bison, High Point Bison, and Eagles Wing Natural Bison.

There are places in Kansas where I used to live that sell to the public also.

Any of those might be too far away from you, but I think most of them ship.
Thanks, Debby! I'll check them out!

It's beautiful!
Thanks. It is one of my new recipes. I usually bake Wheat Breads and Sourdough...but they like White. Thought before I baked it to mail to them....since I have not made it in years....I would try baking it and see
if I approve of the Recipe. And I decided it was very quick, easy to make
and it will be the Recipe I will be using soon to bake a few loaves for them. I have 3 Antique Tins I got at an Auction Years ago...and they
make a large 2 pound loaf. Thanks again, Aria

Those are big loaves mine are like 1 pound but never weighed them
Penny, The Antique Tin is a large one and I did weigh the dough (years
ago to see how much dough I needed for such a large tin )....and it was
2 pounds. I will take a photo of the tin next time and show you how
large they are. The 9 x 5 or the 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 are usually a one pound
loaf. Usually you need to mix a dough with 6 cups of flour in the recipe.

My Mom had 2 bread pans that were large like that. Yep, 2 pound loaves. Long like a loaf of Wonder bread from the store in size. I don't know what happened to those pans after she passed away. They were gone by the time I was moving out and looking for them. My step-mom doesn't bake homemade bread, heck I didn't until I was in my 30's.
