Any Home Bakers Here?

This time I kneaded it in the Kitchen Aid, I’m not sure it saved any time considering it shot flour all over me and the countertop
I had that problem when I tried to add the 2 cups of flour to the mix that had sat overnight in the refrigerator. Doesn't help that the Kitchenaid "splash guard" is a worthless POS, they should do better for the price of those mixers. I ended up taking the bowl off the mixer and used my hands to get the extra flour incorporated.

On one of the shows, they simply hung a small towel over the top of the mixer and the bowl.

That’s what I ended up doing too! I knew better but I haven’t used it in years for bread so I’m rusty. :oops:
 
Tried bowling for awhile most alley's are gone now ... one left about 8 miles just outside Morton
We have 2 terrifically ancient lanes (wood) in the basement of our American Legion. No auto-scoring, and they break down often. There's a men's and ladies' leagues, and only about 7 teams in the ladies' league. I decided to take a year off this year.
