I use them I have few jars in one frig make Pesto, tarter sauce keep my yeast with one

I have a set of plastic lids that has both normal and wide mouth sizes. They are good for storing in the fridge after opening.

I use them for the quart jars I make yogurt in

It seems like there are a lot of different lid choices!

You can also use a butter knife. find where the thread is nearly touching the seal and then use the butter knife to pop off the lid

I used to have one in my tool box for opening oil cans back in the day. Now most cans are pop tops or screw tops so can openers like that are becoming very rare!

Has anyone tried the new lid they call tattlers ? I only use them in refrigerator

Is that the re-usable one? I haven't (obviously) but someone on my friends list (FB) uses the re-usable ones and likes them. Don't know if they have been out long enough to say how well they do long term, but for something that will be canned and likely eaten fairly soon they sound like a good choice so far from what he has said.

X2. I have friends who swear by them, but I've never used them. Last time I did a cost analysis, I could buy a substantial number of disposable lids for the same cost.
