Any Home Bakers Here?

Made bread and split pea soup yesterday so I’m good on dinner for a couple days. I’m hoping to find flour soon though! Last 2 weeks there was none to be found! I’ve got a little over 5 pounds left! :hmm
I made Instant Pot Bolognese sauce yesterday. We will have it for leftovers tonight.

I found 10 pounds of the Organic AP flour that walmart sells here on Saturday. I did have about 10 pounds still though

Have you ever tried to cancel cable? I ditched Dish a few years ago. The woman wouldn’t let me though. She kept trying to get me to stay, and demanding to know all kinds of personal things. She had me a sobbing mess, and I finally snapped when my pleas for her to let me go went unheeded. My goodness, I didn’t beg that much five years ago during the showdown when I saved Duckling, and lost our own baby! I finally started screaming at her, told her to cancel my service without me, and that I had better have a cancellation email within a short while (I probably said twenty minutes). I called, and spoke to a supervisor a few days later. I hope they actually recorded the call, and fired that woman.
I HEAR YOU ...We have a battle going with our Cable persons.....at our

Another attempt at Sourdough. I think I need a smaller pan so the bread goes up instead of spreading.

I think you might be happier with the outcome.

I was wondering, what consistency is your starter? I made hamburger buns and they spread out like that. They had good flavor but they were too big around and didn't have much lift. Now I'm using a thicker starter and it seems happier. Another thing, does the recipe you're using call for yeast and starter? Adding some yeast can give the loaf more lift.
