I want things that look good and taste good (you eat with your eyes first as the saying goes). But to spend hours on something someone's going to demolish with the first fork poke? Life's too short, lol.

But it was fun to see, so I guess it's nice someone else did it!

I still make it from scratch, I got my pie pumpkin in October, I always try it, I just don't like it! Never have. The good news is that's more for people who do like it. I made a really amazing coconut cream pie, I like apple, peach and blueberry, but I'm not a huge pie person. The pumpkin pie, it's the texture I think. It's like eating a jar of baby food to me

. But I'm making pumpkin pie and chocolate khalua cheesecake, so I will have cheese cake! Mmmm

That sounds yummy! There is a little place in Oregon that makes amazing pies. One is called a lemon crumble, lemon (like lemon meringue pie has) with a crumb top. The crumb topping has coconut it in and it's pretty amazing! So if we drive that way when we head to Oregon, we stop there and hope they have a slice!
