Any Home Bakers Here?

Getting a bit boring here with my baking. Just the usual 2x granary sourdough loaves.
I have just over the last week come out of a mild depressive mood so I've not been upto much baking, and my bread hasn't been turning out as good. Maybe I will pick it up over the coming weeks.
Some hand kneading might be just the thing you need

Today's bread is turning out better. When I'm low it's hard for me to do anything and so a "I can't be bothered" attempt of making bread turns out not as good. Still got eaten mostly for toast or made into pizza bread.
It is good news that you are interested in baking again!

Sorry Floydie, hope things are better soon. :hugs

I'm kind of in the same boat as Ron...baking and kneading is a good way of working out some blah's.

If there are any new bakers out there struggling to create light/fluffy yeast bread *by hand* this is now my absolute favorite recipe.

The results are wonderfully predictable and the rolls come out very soft/fluffy/chewy which is perfect for sandwiches, hamburger buns, etc... Just follow the directions exactly and use bread flour -- your days of disappointing homemade bread results will be over!
