Any Home Bakers Here?

If there are any new bakers out there struggling to create light/fluffy yeast bread *by hand* this is now my absolute favorite recipe.

The results are wonderfully predictable and the rolls come out very soft/fluffy/chewy which is perfect for sandwiches, hamburger buns, etc... Just follow the directions exactly and use bread flour -- your days of disappointing homemade bread results will be over!

Hi, thanks for sharing your favorite roll recipe!

are you kidding with this crew here?I'll have to hide some just to have them for dessert at dinner!bunch of scavengers!
It used to be like that here but only one DD is still here and she is Gluten Free-- She does make some of her own desserts and I do make most dinners gluten free now

Our son, DD and hubby(gluten free) and granddaughter all live in houses on the farm with hubby and I. DD and I handle dinners and we all eat together. My donuts are gluten free

English Muffins (yeast and all-purpose flour) are a good "emergency bread" that can be made on a camp stove during a power outage. They are also very versatile and can be used for sandwiches, hamburgers etc...in a pinch.

Tip: Use a spatula when moving the puffy little dough discs into the frying pan, if you use your hand your muffins will have permanent "finger marks". Also when frying be sure not to compress them in any way, you want maximum "lift" for good muffins.
