Found out last night that DD2 will be showing up on the 5th from VA for a couple of weeks of quarantine before going back to school in Canada - where she will have to quarantine for 2 weeks before school starts. Guess I'll need to make a few loaves of bread for the freezer before Wednesday.

It will be nice for you all to have some time together before she goes back to Canada Bruce.

Don't feel bad. I had a friend that only had a first initial and a middle initial and no actual first or middle names. Everyone called him by the first part of his last name.

I used well fed, room temperature sd starter, and the dough rose in about four hours this time (I really hope to get to the store soon!). I had to decide between the refrigerator for 12 hours, and rising in the pan for as long as I could stay up. It rose almost to the top of the pans, so I’m happy. Oh, and I added oil and sugar this time.

The dog cut into it. I can’t blame him.

My FIL didn't have a middle name until he was in the Navy during WWII. The military can't handle empty fields on forms so his middle name during his service years was 'None'.

DD1's name is reasonably common but there is the most common spelling, like 85%, and her spelling which is from the family tree. She doesn't like it when it is spelled incorrectly.

Two loaves of KA basic sourdough loaves just went in the oven.
