Unless the starter turns pink, you can get it going again.Good afternoon all. Maybe it’s evening since it’s after 1800. I am making sourdough starter again, my guys got pushed to the back of the fridge and then looked pretty gross so I dumped them this summer. Temps should cool off a bit by next week though so maybe I can start baking by the weekend after.
Even if it turns pink it will likely start up too.
Put a cup in a freezer safe container and freeze it when you get it going again.
