EMERGENCY FOOD SITUATION. TIME SENSITIVE. NEED ADVICE ASAP.

My freezer in the backyard where ALL my meat is stored just failed. I NEED to find a way to cool all my meat so it doesn’t spoil.

I am talking hundreds of dollars of meat. I CANNOT afford to lose it all.

This has never happened to me. I don’t know what to do.

I don’t know how much time I have. It’s 88 F outside now.

I need advice IMMEDIATELY!

We had this happen and fortunately we had GREAT neighbors and they
took and put our food in their freezers. Sorry best I can do. Aria

First DO NOT OPEN IT. It will stay cold for a time.
Second - I take it this is a mechanical failure, not a power outage.

See if anyone you know has space in their freezers
Gather up as many coolers as you can find and buy a bunch of ice
Start looking for a new freezer ASAP

Good morning all. I got the pickle pipes yesterday so going to give them a try on the sourdough starter jar and some starter I made for fruit.

FWIW the Ball ones work pretty well. Will be using your bread recipe this weekend @Aria the one you posted last week. Can’t wait to try it!

igorsMistress, Looking forward to viewing Photo. It will be GREAT. I made White Sourdough for BLT sandwiches (my husband will not eat Multi Grain Bread) and two loaves of my Multigrain. White sliced and in Freezer the Multigrain one to neighbor and one for me. Happy Baking. Aria

I ordered my Pipes from Amazon for my two Jars of Sourdough Starter and I may make a fermentation of some veggie and use one there. I had an order for Amazon...getting wax melts, Coffee Pods and NOW deciding on my Oven Gloves. Love Amazon. Aria
