I give old bread to my rabbit and guinea pigs sometimes, have given a chunk of sourdough in my sow pen and also to the rabbit. Cant see that it caused them any problems. Dont know about ducks though.

I am heading down to Las Vegas Nevada tomorrow for Thanksgiving with family. Bringing duck, orange sauce, and giblet gravy to the meal.

maybe I will also make some turnip gratin today to bring down. I’m not sure yet.

I end up with bookmarks on my phones and then they die and I can’t find the recipes online any more. I usually write the ones I like down but guess that one never made it to the recipe box. Thanks so much for posting Penny, I wrote it down this time!

For online recipes, I click print and make a pdf that goes into my dropbox share.

I learned years ago that stuff on the web go away all the time. News stories are often only up for a month.

It sure is the best place.

I've passed this byc around while shopping today so we may get a few more members. I mentioned this baking section . One of the ladies I spoke to has a son and daughter in law that love baking and growing their own vegetables plus they have just got a few chickens.
