Looks tasty and just the right size...would you mind sharing your recipe?
2 tablespoons of butter, two of milk. Warm in the microwave in a cup to melt. 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 3 1/4 a cup of plain flour, 3 teaspoons of sugar (I think it needed a bit more sugar), teaspoon of vanilla essence, mix together add milk slowly until it makes a batter (not too runny or too thick). Split into two cups. Add sprinkles. Heat one at a time for 1 min 20s add back to microwave 20s etc until firm on top. Hope that makes sense. Off to bed now goodnight all.
Mug cake anyone?

I’ve been feeding 20% for years and never had that problem. You could try skipping the treats and see what happens. Assuming you have feed to use up, and it’s not old or stale... I think it’s best to try one thing at a time, ask me how I know!Just to be sure I'm understanding you... you think 20% protein is too high? Do you know why that would affect the membrane around the yolk?
I suspect your issue is the treats. The supplements Ron suggested should help, but backing off the treats will likely solve your issue. The question of protein is not a health issue but rather a cost in production issue. 16% is the minimum level that will still produce eggs effectively. Lower protein=less cost.I do have a cockerel. That's why I picked All Flock. I like the 20% so that I can also give them treats like mealworms, BOSS, melon guts/seeds, and snips of greens.
I have oyster shell on the side, and crushed up egg shells. They seem to prefer the egg shells.
I don't think I'm shaking up the eggs.... hmmm.
I'm doing pretty good today, just got back from the doctor. The took the bandage off and removed half the stitches. I'll start PT soon for my wrist and my right shoulder.
How are you? We seem to always miss each other.
