Baked 3 Loaves of Sourdough Multigrain Seeded.
Made 3 Tuesday for Family. Today is thursday...perhaps too soon to use the Sourdough
Starter? Usually use once a week???? Aria
You can use it every day. It is good to go after it bubbles when replenishing it.

Sourdough starter will become more active the more it is used.

I usually make bread once a week because I do not have so many people in the house to eat it!

My Youngest DD is gluten free.

Had two interesting things happen this week.

First, all the bear meat that I was saving somehow went bad. I couldn’t make the bear meatloaf. I have no idea what happened to the meat.

Then, I tried making Kung Pao chicken. It ended up delicious, but didn’t look good because of many mistakes.

I felt like a failure for a little bit, felt really bad and felt that I couldn’t cook properly. Then, I remembered a quote from a Japanese teacher, named Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of the Martial Art Aikido.

“Failure is the key to success. Each mistake teaches us something.”

I feel better now, I figured out what the mistakes I made were, so I can learn from them.

I know I've had my share of failed baking and cooking attempts...it is a good way of learning what not to do.

When I shot Bulleye Pistol matches, a friend told me, "Good matches are strokes, bad matches are lessons."

It was almost chilly this morning. It was cool enough that I had a fan going upstairs, windows open downstairs, baked some grownies, and the house cooled down 6 degrees. :thumbsup

MAN, that is scary! All the smoke from the wildfires had this effect on the moon.
