Quote: I was waiting to get out of the grocery store parking lot. The lady in front of me was missing all of her openings to go.
I figured she was one the phone or something.

I do not beep. I should.I should beep but it seems so rude.

Cars were piling up be hind us, finally I creep around to her right since I was turning right. When I got up to her, she was sitting there ...EATING A SANDWICH!
There's a lot of nuts out there. Everybody be careful.

She was sitting in the middle of the drive lane eating a sandwich....in a parking lot, where you can easily pull into a spot......sigh....

Okay, all this bread talk. I might make rolls to go with the Christmas ham.
All of my breads this past year have been horrible flops.

I bought new yeast. Maybe I can get it to work.
I go in spurts with baking, Everything is great and rolling along perfectly, then all flops until I quit trying.
I think the universe spins into an unfavorable spot and I just can't bake.

But now... I will try.
You inspirational types ...are all inspiring , and all.

I never tried the gump bread and it always got rave reviews.
I need to try Ron's bread too.
The boy will be here for a month, so I have someone to feed this stuff to.

@tjo804 We love the Cinna-buns recipe, that's in the index. If you have a different recipe you like for the bread part, the filling in the cinna-bun one is extra good (uses a LOT of cinnamon).
Cinna-Buns - post #10

Yum, and the icing sounds great

so happy the boy is there for you!
If I add *those funny spices* allspice nutmeg cloves the humans here will not eat it Except for me!

And I do not need that much bread. So I share with the dogs and chickens

I want to try a Garlic Knot also that way Maybe I wont have to go to Double Daves anymore then. Sounds like a New Years thing

Do they like cinnamon? Skip the others, although a pinch of cloves usually goes over well, and just use cinnamon.

Also, allspice is substituted with cinnamon and cloves with a pinch of nutmeg. It is an either or thing so if a recipe has all of those in it, be suspicious of it.
