what’s the difference between regular salt and kosher salt?
Kosher salt has larger crystals and is coarser, it’s usually used in cooking. Table salt (regular salt) has smaller crystals and is finer, so it’s usually used in baking.

Kosher is a flake and tastes better than table salt. At first I couldn't taste the difference, but when I went back to table salt for a taste test, I made ugly faces, lol! :sick

coarse kosher salt is good for pre cooking. The way the crystals are shaped helps it penetrate food. Table salt is good for finishing a dish.

One problem with using non iodized salt and not eating store baked breads and etc. is iodine deficiency.
