Lmoa much to her horror lol. I had to explain breast feeding and ended up having to show her lol her jaw dropped and she smiled and understood now she says brothers hungry and points at my breast. She also tells me when he has a dirty diaper lol. She bery demanding that he gets good care lol. I have to post a picture later, my grandmother made her a blanket and its her favorite, when he is in his chair she tucks him in with it the runs to turn off the light and goes backs and kisses him and tells him night night then she sits next to him on the floor and watch cartoons lol.

Lol I knew she would love him!

Oh man, that is so cute and what a good big sister! And yay to her doing chores! That is great and I say go with it! My son loves to "help" with everything I would rather do alone and its pulling teeth some days getting him to do the chores he has to do. Haha. But I try to go with it when it's an option. Although some days it just drives me crazy because what would take me 5 minutes with him takes 30! His favorite is going to work on the weekends with his dad. It doesn't happen a lot, just when I have plans on the weekend. One time I came to get him and he was smashing rocks with a hammer. He didn't want to leave. I guess that is a good job for him, he sat in one place and just got up to grab more rocks. It's better then him trying to help with the wires! I'm not sure how he thought breaking rocks was helpful, but he had a great time!

I also remember a few mud fights (the mud for sheet rock). Insulation days sucked lol as did framing there wasnt much i could do he got creative to keep me entertained lol. Its funny you say that aloce because she refuses to pick up her toys but will help with all the other chores

kids are funny that way.

Not baking, but we made silly putty today at the daycare! A parent gave me the recipe almost a month ago and I keep forgetting to try it. They are all having a blast!

Silly putty

Food coloring
Water
8oz glue
1tsp borax

Empty 8oz of elmers glue into a large mixing bowl. Fill the empty glue bottle with water, put the lid on and shake well. Empty water into the bowl and stire together with the glue.

Add a few drops of food coloring (my son did it, so we have lots of food coloring in ours!).

Measure 1/2 cup or warm water into a cup and add 1tsp borax powder to the water. Stir together. Slowly add the borax/water solution as you stir the glue mixture. You can add all or just a bit depending on how stringy you want it. Let the kids have a blast with it!

When done, put in a ziplock bag to store.

*I was going to make more play dough, but glad I did this! Is different and the kids are having so much fun!
