Any Home Bakers Here?

Well,,, It was not too hot,, so I did do some baking.

Maiden voyage,, I did recipe as posted with no variations. I did double the amounts to make larger batch. Made 3 cakes from that dough batch. Decided on Strawberries, and Apples, and Grapes.
My cakes were slightly thinner since in larger pans,, so my baking time was 1 hour, and toothpick pulled out clean.

Strawberry. I put in whole 1 pound container contents.

2 apples,, Dusted with cinnamon, made 16 wedges

Just before going into oven. Sprinkled sugar on top.

I like to line pans with parchment,, for easy removal from pans.
I finished late,, so let all cool overnight. Sliced into them next day. :thumbsup
 
I just need to save the whey.
I'm not sure if the whey from yogurt will work for you, but you can have that in about 8 hours. And have yogurt too, of course. :) I always drain my yogurt so that it's Greek style, and I have a lot of uses for whey.

If the whey from yogurt won't work, will you explain how it's different, please?
 
Did a lot of baking yesterday. Well a lot for me 😂. And canned some cucumbers for pickles. Made pineapple coconut zucchini bread and a herb and cheese zucchini bread.

Nice! I want to make the cake with fresh peaches and top with some brown sugar.
