I found the recipe on the pond thread. If a recipe is posted to this thread, then I can add the recipe to the index:

Fried Cabbage(pennyJo1960)
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 slices bacon, cut into thirds
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 head cabbage, cored and sliced
  • 1 white onion, chopped
1 pinch white sugar
  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat; add bacon and season with salt and pepper. Cook until bacon is crisp, 5 to 7 minutes.

  • Add cabbage, onion, and sugar; cook and stir continuously until cabbage and onion are tender, about 5 to 10 minutes.
