Thanks. I have an update on that, actually.

I had to order a special tool in order to take a part off. If I can’t take that part off, I can’t access the place where I need to put on the timing belt. It should be here when the timing belt gets here, around October 10th.

Until then, I’m at a stopping point.

Had some Ricotta Cheese laying around so decided to use it up. I just winged the recipe with basic amounts so I did not keep precise track. The cheese, I just added about ½ cup of sugar, and 1 egg. Also a handful of raisins.
The dough is a basic Baking powder raised yellow cake.
This is a cake with cheese topping, rather than a cheese cake variety. Still tasty.

One container of Ricotta, 1 egg, and ½ cup sugar not shown.

In the mixer with raisins added

Basic Yellow cake. I made my own, but a Packet would work just as easily. Maybe a Flavored variety like Lemon Cake would be GREAT.

Ready for oven

Out of oven when nicely tanned.

On cooling rack.

Not very much cheese topping, but that is what I decided to try.

Notes;
This is something I just made on the fly. Next time I am thinking of making similar using A packet Lemon Cake Mix... And then again Using my favorite Yeast raised cake dough.

Adding a lemon pudding packet to the cake sound like a good thing too!
