Any Home Bakers Here?

Does anyone have a recipe for peach pie filling? I'm planning to make pie, I made apple last time
Pretty much the same as for apple pie but less cinnamon. Try the Betty Crocker recipe.

The key when using fresh peaches is to make sure that the filling comes to a boil before you take it out of the oven. If it doesn't boil, the pie filling won't set up if using fresh peaches. Canned peaches are much more cooperative, but fresh peaches make a better pie.

Should I bake it for an hour, the same as apple pie? I'm using fresh peaches

I bake mine at 425⁰F for 15 minutes and then at 375⁰F for another hour. You may need different time with your oven.

You can check it at 1 hour to see if the filling is bubbling. If it isn't leave it in longer.

Thank you. Question: What does adding cornstarch to your bread recipe ....do? A U Tube video had a recipe and added
two tablespoons of cornstarch to a 2 loaf recipe. DID NOT
explain why. Never heard of it....has anyone? Aria

I'll check it at 50 mins at 400 degrees then let it bake some more if it needs to
