It looks good but what is it???

I see potatoes, some form of meat, I think parsley and cheese sauce???

Close. Potatoes cooked in clarified butter, sirloin steaks pan seared just right, tender and juicy. Parsley garnish and homemade Bearnaise sauce.

OK, somebody pulled a prank on me. I happened to be breaking some eggs to make a meal, and this happened.

Who put a boiled egg back into the egg carton?

Being a prankster myself, I can’t believe I fell for that.
The worst prank ( unintended) I had was when I got hatching eggs from a friend, somehow one felt “funny” , turns out, she accidentally put a boiled in in with the hatching eggs 🤪 7 years later , we still laugh about it.
On another note, I baked a lot the past few days, reactivated my sd, then had to bake irish soda bread cos we ran out if bread ( ok) then I tried sd scones ( again ran out if bread) they didn’t turn out, the recipe said no waiting time, I should have listened to my gut which said, give them time to rise 🤷🏻‍♀️) , also baked some sd blueberry muffins ( this time, I let the dough rise ) cos I was feeling peckish, they were ok but firmer than a regular muffin is

I am way behind, my mother-in-law passed away last Saturday, since they live 220 miles away, organization is difficult, my hubby, thank God has home office and a lot of vacation saved up, cos he knew this day would come , and has been there ever since, he will come back home a few days after the funeral) .
Since my mil had dementia, she threw away (among others ) the list of address/phone number of family and friends, it was a hassle to get them ( they finally found an old list and updated it) since it is a regular funeral, it usually should happen within 9 days, or else the body decomposes too bad, an earlier date was free, but it would have been hubbies birthday, then the grown up kids are coming, but they live all over Germany, so we had to organize time off, train tickets ( we have to pick them up from the train station before the funeral, drop them back off and then drive the 220 miles back cos the son who is still at university has to be there the next day ) then the church in the village isn’t catholic, so we had to ask the reverend if he was ok with a catholic priest doing the funeral in his church, then the venue after the funeral wanted an exact number of people, and I had lots of maybes 🙄. But I think most of you know what I am talking about 🤷🏻‍♀️
Now we have to see how we will look after fil, he is almost blind, I think we will do it as before, hubby will drive down there every other week and stay there for 5 days and then come back home …he was fine before his wife passed away, but we fear he won’t be long for this world, such a shock at 91 isn’t good 😬
