Third time’s the charm! I think I figured it out, I was adding too much water which made the dough too sticky to shape properly and fall flat. Switched from 375g water to 300g and I was finally able to get that smooth surface and tight round dough ball.

Today’s 3rd which is about 3in taller than the previous one.

Now I need to figure out what to do with all this bread! I also made sourdough pancakes and I don’t think I’ll ever need to buy pancake mix again. Next time I want to try cinnamon rolls.

Correct me if I'm wrong,,, but I thought that strawberries were essential to be mixed in with pie plant,,

When I did that, my kids complained; „you spoiled the delicious strawberries with disgusting pie plant“

I made a batch of 50 lemon sugar cookies yesterday, anticipating the visit of 4 great grandkids, There are 4 cookies left in the jar. I think they liked them! Pa has requested another batch for himself. I will put some in the freezer for the summer months when it's to hot to bake.

That sounds interesting! Did you put lemon flavor in your sugar cookie recipe?

Interesting! I never thought about baking beforehand, so that I have enough cookies/cakes when it is too hot to bake, or the chickens don’t lay any eggs !
