@ronott1 being lazy here I have french bread rising you had posted doing in in cast iron dutch oven had the lid on then took off after so long had not done it this way but thought I would give it a go

The dutch oven is heated for 30 minutes empty before bread is baked

think I will bake it in the oven but leave the lid off then

I baked the lavender lemon cookie sandwich recipe that was posted. It is good!



The lemon curd is perfect. The cookie was a bit on the dry side so I will be changing the recipe for that part.

let me know the change I will have to make a couple see of cookie only apply change if needed... buy the way used the dutch oven no lid darn did the best french bread loved it all around
