Yes my family farmed for years. Cotton, alfalfa, cantaloupes, tomatoes. Yes the cotton is very pretty when it's all in bloom. We used to climb in the cotton trailers and stomp it down until my asthma got in the way, lol! We had a cantaloupe packing shed to and we would ride the converyor belts and play in the rail cars...I'm surprised one of us never got shipped off in one!

That is a problem. We had a little bit here over night on Friday.
We had a bit of rain and I think it helped. I haven't heard any news of more fires. But those poor people up north! We have had like 30 earthquakes in California over the last few days. I live in the Central Valley so we are quite lucky when it comes to natural disasters....fingers crossed..knock on wood
