..wish I had made a full recipe..lol.

But, I also found another almost eggzact recipe that doesn't require creaming the sugar and butter. Gonna try that next and will let y'all know the verdict on which is best.

Yes! Me too! I love baking...er cooking, yes, anything in the kitchen except cleaning up! I hate cleaning up...

I love the pasta recipe and I just bought a pasta maker (crank type machine for rolling out the dough), so I'm excited to do this!

Warning, its addictive ;) fun and EASY! Just make sure you let your dough sit for 30 minutes before rolling; THATS the trick ;)

What type of pasta maker did you get?  That pasta did look wonderful, thinking about trying my hand at it and would love to see what you accomplish.

Those sound wonderful, if you need additional tasters, we're here :D

My pasta maker is a Marcato...atlas, I believe? Awesome, great quality! I prefer the papardelle and linguine cutters, but it came with a spaghetti one.

One batch of dough makes about 4-5 meals worth of pasta, so at the cost if 4 cups of flour and free eggs, its a win win; and the whole family gets involved, so its a great family night :)

@shortgrass
 how do you store extra pasta (uncooked pasta)? Does it require refrigeration or freezing?

It does require freezing...unless its dried completely, and I just don't like how brittle it is when completely dry, so I usually dust them with flour and coil them up into a gallon baggie, and they go in the freezer. That way, I can just open the baggie and snag a couple of bunches, and the flour keeps them from sticking together in the freezer. :)

They cook much faster than dried, too :)

Thanks for info, would like to try my hand at making pasta sometime in the distant future :).

My list of things to do in the distant future keeps getting longer and longer. And my list of things to do someday is even longer, lol!
