@NorthFLChick, I'm late, but I hope you had a happy birthday! I haven't been on at all this weekend. Friday my son and I made gingerbread cookies for the cake walk at the school carnival. Saturday I was busy all morning, then had to go to the carnival to deliver cookies before it started. I volunteered for the dunk tank, which my son loved. He thought it was so funny when I got dunked!

Today I have a whole chicken boiling with onions and garlic, so we will have chicken noodle soup tonight! I'll make the noodles in a bit. Then I'm looking through this thread or a good dinner roll recipe to go with the soup!

I've decided to make @ronott1 sourdough English muffins! They sound awesome and I'm sure they will be great with chicken noodle soup! Plus I had to feed my start, so this will be a good use for it

Also, I need to say a huge thank you and you are awesome to @NorthFLChick! I went to the start of the thread to start looking to see if someone posted a good roll recipe and saw that the first post you have every recipe added in my name and post! I just looked until I saw one that sounded good and clicked on the post! That is so awesome if you and I hadn't realized you have been doing that. Thank you so much! There have been a few times I have used a recipe on here and forgotten to write it down, so I'm stuck looking through all the posts until I find it. This will make my life so much easier and I appreciate you taking the time to do that for us all.

Hi Alice, good to see you back! Sounds like you were a big hit with the carnival between the cookies and the dunk tank, lol. Very brave of you!

The Index is really helpful (I use it quite a bit myself). It wouldn't have got done without @sunflour and @sumi working on it with me. Hats off to those two fine ladies!

Sumi does the updates every week, we're doing our best to stay current. So nice to hear it's helping you!

I cooked a pot roast last night in my dutch oven. It was wonderful! and very tender.

I also baked blueberry banana bread in the morning(in loaf pans--not the dutch oven...).

Keep rubbing it in LOL, dutch oven is on my list for Santa.
