I should change mine--Some think it is Ronotti - Not Ron Ott numeral one.

I even have my first name in the signature.

The will sometimes get the Gender wrong too....

I have always read it as rott not, I have no idea why lol. Signatures don't show up if you are on a mobile device so you have to let us off not seeing that

On the subject of names being pronounced wrong, I have two funny stories. First, I have to point out my name is Alice, pretty easy right? I get people all the time saying "Alex" or "Alison" so usually I tell them "Alice, like in wonderland". Then they say "oh, Alice."

When I was in 5th grade, during role call my teacher called me Alison, I corrected him and said "my name is Alice". He said "you go by Alice, your real name is Alison". I told him to look on the attendance sheet, my name is Alice. He proceeded to tell me that parents can just write nick names, my real name WAS Alison. I told him both my grandmas names are Alice and that was my name. When my mom came to pick me up he told her how I was a liar and I argued with him and said my name isn't Alison, it's Alice. My mom responded "yah, that's because her name is Alice! Both her grandmas are named Alice."

I had the same incident with a manager once. She called me Alison a few times, one of the times we were in the office alone and I said "my name is Alice, not Alison" and she told me "yah, I don't like using nick names". I told her good, then you will call me Alice, because that's my full name! Keep in mind, this woman's full name was Bobbie! Those are my name stories.

Lol i am sorry Alice thats just sad and funny. My husband family all expected us to name our son after him (ny husbaand the 3rd) Charles Herbet, the name charles i have no problem with the herbert i cant do lol. But i also dont want his dad to think we named our son after him(his dads a jerk to my husband and two year old and accused me of cheating because he didnt want to tell grandma he left his trash out and the dogs got in to it). Anyways yeah i think names are very interesting its funny why we pick certian names for our kids that our parents wouldnt have.

I really like the name Gwynne. I know a very nice lady with that name, so that helps. Yah, the arguing with me about my own name is probably what makes those stories stand out. Like, oh yah you got me, I don't know my own name

They are funny. At the time the one with my teacher made me mad and hurt my feelings, but now it's funny.

Sorry for your in law drama. My husbands mom made a "joke" about me being a bad mom once. What's funny is she is a horrible mom and my husbands sister is a horrible mom. My husbands parents also buy gifts for their other grandkids, but not for my son. We have no involvement with my husbands sister and her family, and my husbands parents like to take pictures of my son and leave. He doesn't even call them grandma or grandpa. If he ever says something about them, he says "my dads mom and dad"

I can imagine him calling a child a liar is retarded. I can only imagine my names Rebecca so i dont have that as a problem so much but at one of the places i worked i went by my last name(was my maidan name at the time i wasnt married) because there were two of us and it was hard for them to page us over head lol. Everyone just assumed it was my first name lol i had fun with that.

Yeah i refuse to have lucy around his dad and his mom they (they are div.) they tend to be to put it mildly crazy, his dad nice to his sister kids and mean to mine and same with his mom so i tend to be protective like you on that limited exposure. I still cant believe how my husband survived and was normal with them.
