Any Home Bakers Here?

I have the opposite side of the coin here. My brother married a beautiful and rather shallow woman. We think she was suffering a bit of postpartum depression and accused my mom of some horrible things. Mom is more then willing to forgive and forget (I am less noble, but it is something to aspire too) But she wants nothing to do with my parents. So my brother brings the oldest halfway and my parents meet him, every chance they get. I have only seen my niece once and have never met my nephew.

Yeah i refuse to have lucy around his dad and his mom they (they are div.) they tend to be to put it mildly crazy, his dad nice to his sister kids and mean to mine and same with his mom so i tend to be protective like you on that limited exposure. I still cant believe how my husband survived and was normal with them.

Haha, I feel the same way about my husband. I am lucky in that his parents have pretty much no interest in my son, so I don't have to really do anything to limit exposure. It does make me a little sad, I have two amazing sets of grandparents and seeing the kids at his school with involved grandparents makes me sad, but my aunt and uncle he calls grandma and grandpa and he has my dad who he thinks walks on water, so he's a happy boy.

Lol we have your issue to organic expect one on drugs the other wants nothing to with us unless there money invovled. I rarely see either of my brothers and i meet three out of four of their kids. And yeah my mom helps them both out i refuse to be so nice when after i help they just ***** about me so yeah no. And i am ok with his parents staying far away lol i feel bad about that but after everything i found out about them i am pretty sure limited time helps me not kill them.

Lol I think most of us do. Someday I am sure my SIL will hate me.

Lol true lol my best friend got lucky with her mother in law but her mom wasnt all there i think it has to balance out some where. I greatful to God for my parents they are awesome.

Yeah, that would take way more patience and talent than I have (it took her 3 tries to make it work). But it is cool looking!

My daughter would flip. She did a 180 on us and decided Cinderella was better then Elsa (I think she likes the talking mice). Everything is Cinderella now. Saddly I am not artsy, I can make something taste fabulous but it looks ugly.
