I had one grandfather born on Christmas and he hated it.
I had another born on New Years eve, and he loved it.

Lmao tjo yeah i have lol i went swimming in the frio in november on year on a camping trip lol i learned my lesson. I dont do cold water very often any more lol.

I wait till the pool is at least 85 deg. But I am more than willing to laugh at anyone else who wants to try sooner.

Guess we are spoiled in Texas the pool in Michigan never got over 65 and as a kid I loved it!

Our springs are 72 degrees and it has to be a hot day for me to even try.

it's the kinda think( their own special tradition)that kids remember into adulthood....and it helps shape who they are.

Lol i think as kids we pretty much immune to weather conditions when it comes to fun lol. I think it takes an adults mind to say no to certian things lol. And yeah i would say so but i laugh when i hear others talking about 85 being the hottest day ever for them when we get 100+ weather for months at a time.

While drinking coffee in the pool this summer the thermostat next to the pool went up to 112 deg.
