Yeah i agree with that i have cousins who have all have different fathers and they arent exactly normal they are doing better because one man choose to adopt them all (they were all older by then) but they still habe issues. And organic you ever get the feeling something odds going on when you walk back in to a room and you two year old is picking up her toys with out being asked...

My youngest son's b-day is Dec. 23rd. We brought him home from the hospital on Christmas day (the nurses had him stuffed inside a red felt Christmas stocking).

His birthday was special AND separate. He had the whole thing on his special day...cake & party & presents (wrapped in paper NOT red, white or green). He loved his b-day! I think it was harder on my older son because he'd been waiting impatiently for Santa and gifts and here his little brother was getting presents right before Christmas...he's the one that would complain about younger bro's b-day being in December, lol.

The December b-day can add to the craziness of the holiday season but it really is important to the kid to feel his day is special so it's worth it.

I will not be buying flounder there agian. I bought flounder from Heb and froze it for later, this is the second time i have cooked it from there and both times as i am trying to turn it it falls apart and i mean into tiny pieces totally frustrated. I have fried, pan seared and grilled lots of fish and have never had this happen. I am thinking when i got it it wasnt very fresh i ll just start asking my dad for fish since he goes fishing all the time(they live at the coast two hours away)

Buddy is the only cat I have ever had that just watches, smells and doesn't eat or play with things not approved for cats

Buddy must not only be smart, but well brought up! How nice to have a housecat that knows how to behave well

And he's so helpful with things like gingerbread...does he do dishes too? I think I could use a cat like Buddy.

Oh good, I will have to try this come spring. I have a big ginger boy cake pan. I was going to make it with the girls, then have the boy "escape" leaving flour footprints

It just occurred to me to add a comment about the GB cake - it is a very moist recipe and I don't think you can release it from a pan if that's what you have in mind?

You would have to leave it in the cake pan and cut each piece out to serve.
