My bread for the bake sale. 5 loafs lemon poppyseed, 4 apple cake, 5 white bread(obviously all mini loafs

). I made the poppyseed last night and the apple cake and white bread this morning. I also had to make another loaf of the lemon poppyseed this morning for my son, I let him have one of the small loafs yesterday, but we ate it all last night! I promised I would make a big loaf just for us while he is at school.

@OrganicFarmWife that banana bread looks yummy!

it is!

On the banana thing. I peel them before I freeze them and put in a ziplock bag. Trying to peel a frozen banana is a nightmare and we use them frozen in smoothies. If you put them in the smoothie frozen they make it go thick like you have added ice cream but the kids are none the wiser that it's just milk and bananas :-)

If I bake I just pull my couple I need out of the bag and sit to defrost. No peeling mushy black soggy bananas.

Good Idea

I have frozen the Libbey's pumpkin pie filling (just filling) using a Mellon baller to make balls on a cookie sheet and then once frozen I put in zip lock for Smoothies.

Little pumpkin pie spice and some yogurt and oh la la in the summer. Lots of vitamins and fiber in Pumpkin and with some Banana that would be good too I think.

Impressive output there Alice. Very nice, should do well at the sale!

Thanks everyone, I hope it all sells. I have to bring it and the items Im donating over tonight.

@appps, good call on peeling the bananas first if you want them frozen! I don't peel them until after they thaw.
