Any Home Bakers Here?

Thanks organic i am going to i probably use some money i get from saling eggs. It just take a little while. We looking at owner fiancing some land and having to look at getting a new suv his truck is having some major issues so yeah. But he starts a new job on thursday so hopefully that works out well. I get to work his old job (deliveries/maintance) during the day while he at his new job so should be interesting.

Sounds like a great plan to me. Where are the babies going while you work?

They will be with me, its only like two or three day thing. I could do the shopping for them as well but i have limits such as no lifting fifty case of water four times in one day isnt happening. But the only daycare we would send lucy and joshua to is 600 a month for both i believe but i also soley breastfeed i just started (today) hand expressing milk. But i have two friends from church that are willing to help one has three kids for lucy to play with if she takes her for a few hours for me and the other has an empty nest(her words). I might not get on for awhile and not bake the more challaging recipes anymore but i stick to the planning and my gardens are almost all deweeded and ready to plant so when he starts this thursday i have everything organized to help me out hopefully.

I never could pump. Babies ate and doc assured me they were getting enough, but I would spend an hour that dang pump and barely get 6 oz :barnie
I did better with thing 2 but seemed pointless at that point.

Bummer! I love French toast also. I always put cinnamon and vanilla in mine

Come on , join in for Sunday French Toast - I prefer mine plain, no syrup or anything on top, but you can add whatever you want

I did bake it on thursday could that be a problem. I did cut some off when it first cooled (taste test had a friends daughter over helping with lucy and baking). I doubt i could talk my husband in to a auto matic bread slicer

i havent talked him in to a mixer or bread machine yet and a few other things i need/want for the kitchen so yeah.

I always have difficulty letting breads cool before slicing, but read doing so will make bread and cakes dry out quicker.
I just use a bread knife and estimate the cuts ---- if you don't have one then any serrated knife - even a steak knife - will cut bread nicely.

Bread machines are for us lazy geezers

I have an electric mixer, but have been doing most things by hand lately - better than a gym membership

Lol hey i want to be lazy on some notes lol. Yeah its a work out lol. Today been interesting joshua wont go an hour with out complaining that he not attached to me

i thinking pumping even the extra milk was dumb. I have enough for two feeding when he eats and i wait till he done before i pump and i leave some so i am not sure what the problem is today he gotten enough to eat he just extra clingy its becoming frustrating.

Probably just noticed something changed, and change is scary without momma holding you.

I hope your right and i hope tomorrow better i havent been very productive today.

LMAO you are raising 2 babies. As long as they are fed, warm, safe, and reasonably clean, you had a fantastic day. If you got the dishes done that just proves how awesome you are (this is what I tell myself regularly, sometimes reasonably clean is suggestive)

Look around, they do not have to be expensive. This is very similar to the one I have and it's less then 10

When you reply to a post, quote or make a new post, there is a tool on the tool bar for imbeding a link. So you type something: link to bread slicing guide

Highlight it and the click on the link tool. Paste the link in and then post the message. See, I now have a link and you do not see the complete URL.
