We do! And I very much look forward to it. DH and I do not get alot of alone time, so going out, without kids, is very rare. We use holidays as a good reason to remember each other. I am very much looking forward to our date. Where we go is not important, we are going somewhere sweet and fun. It is not the money he spends, it is the time. And I know we should spend time everyday, but it is very difficult to dress up and enjoy a conversation with little kids. Maybe someday.

Good for you two OFW! Sometimes with kids around, it's hard to remember mom & dad are people too and that time together is necessary. Time is one thing we can't buy, we just have to use it the best way we can. I think your plans sound wonderful!

Kinda upset and frustrated... Dr ordered joshua off breast feeding for five days they want to see if the cause of his elevated liver functioning is due to the breast milk. They think it is but just want to make sure he ok with bottle feeding i am the one have emotional problems with it. Monday or tuesday he gets his blood drawn again to check his levels again.

Oh no! I cannot remember the huge code, but you need them. There is nothing scarier then a sick baby. Prayers that he is healthy, and no listening to any fool who gives you a hard time for formula feeding! There is nothing wrong with formula.

No I completely get it, just don't let anyone else add to your stress. Give him lots of snuggles, you will both feel better for it.

It's probably all of the above . As mum to three kids that wouldn't touch a bottle so was unable to ever go anywhere much for years without them, a baby that takes a bottle can be a wonderful thing too at times. Maybe good excuse to leave him with his favourite babysitter and go get some mummy time during those days. (Dinner with hubby, coffee with friends, home to sleep for a few hours ;-) )

Is anyone making/baking anything special for Valentine's Day?

I found this pan set on sale at Michael's and thought I'd make a chocolate cake, frosting the layers alternating coconut and chocolate frosting. I hope the 5 layers don't slip all over (maybe use bamboo skewers to hold it up?). Any advice in case things get slippery?

We don't normally do anything special for Valentine's, but I suppose I could make some cookies or cake.
I usually draw a little card for DH. Now you got me thinking...

Ooooh, nice! Please post a picture of the cake when it's finished, I'd love to see how it turned out. No baking (by me anyways) for Valentine's Day this year. I actually have to waitress for my youth group's Valentine's Day fundraiser, "Enchanted Evening". So I guess that's how my Valentine's Day will be spent. LOL
