:lau Even when I was young and foolish, the idea of alcohol in the morning was unappealing....never really understood mimosas. BUT as an after dinner treat, that sounds fun. Kinda like butterscotch snapps on ice cream :)

The best Mimosas are made with red grapefruit juice and Asti Spumante. The best!

@OrganicFarmWife
 we still had 1/2 a loaf of challah bread so I made your bread pudding early this morning. In case you don't already know it, when it's warm out of the oven it makes a wonderful breakfast! I made it 2 layers with extra raisins in the middle (increased the milk and spices a bit) and it was great!

Thank you again for the recipe :thumbsup

Going over to look up that recipe, I still have left over challah bread in the fridge.

So you were all talking about it, decided I need to make the Challa bread too. everything went smoothly until I started letting the braids rise. They rose much more then my Wheat bread does, over flowed my baking stone :) but I tried a piece it does taste good, now to make the poor boys.

Glad you tried it! It makes the most wonderful French toast.
