Ignore the laundry basket i am using it to rest my legs on to easy my back he weighs 16 pounds now (according to our home scale) and i been holding him all day with out sitting most of the day he wouldnt let me earlier

Poor little guy, I would be miserable as well. Honestly didn't know that bracing was used much these days. Just wondering - is he being treated by a Pediatric Orthopedic specialist?

Just dropping this off here quick, found the recipe and video on FakeBook:

This looks yum!

I have never tried flank steak - but those look great.

Yes he is. They said they treat anywhere from 2-5 kids a day. Apparently this is the best way they have to treat this world wide. They use to cut the tendons all around the foot

i cant imagine what those parents went through

Yeah i asked if there Was another way when he said that i said ok nevermind thats not happening! They talked about sedating him during the casting but i was praying they wouldnt and they didnt.

I am out of Bread Flour and am going to use Unbleached Flour with the Vital Gluten. I also have Diastatic Malt. They crows are really enjoying my flops. They come by every day checking to see if I put any out.

I worked with a woman a long time ago. She had to wear a brace on her legs when she was a little kid, back then they were like metal caliper things with a bar across (so your legs were joined together), like something out of a medieval dungeon. It makes no difference to your little guy having to go through his treatment, but medical appliances have come a long way.

He ll have to wear boots with a bar on the bottom connecting the two boots but only at night from what the doctor said if i understood correctly. I am thankful that he was born in a time where its easier on him even through he might not agree.

I was one of those kids that had to wear the brace to bed thing with weird boots. I was little and I have no memory of it. Kids are amazingly resilient and get used to things far better and faster than adults. You are being a great Mommy just being there for him and loving him.

I had a couple of friends too when I was young that had to ware the brace with the boots, but I thought they had to wear them constantly for awhile then gradually only at night, but this was a very long time ago.
